OAuth 2.0 Authentication and Security Improvements in PostgreSQL 18

PostgreSQL 18 adds native OAuth 2.0 client authentication, allowing databases to participate in modern identity workflows. Combined with other security improvements in pg_hba.conf handling and connection security, this release brings PostgreSQL authentication in line with enterprise requirements.
